Principals

MANAGING PARTNERS

Carol Asselta and John Knoop Jr became business partners in 1989 after having worked together at Wheaton Industries. They bring an extensive amount of human resource and management experience to find the right solution for your business.

With exposure to a variety of industries, both union and non-union, they have experience in all disciplines of human resources. They are often called upon for advice on employment law and human resource processes.

As adjunct professors and instructors for the SHRM Learning System, they have helped others obtain their PHR/SPHR certification.

Carol and John understand how your employees can make a difference and can work with your organization to create value through your people.

Recognitions:

Carol and John have been receipients of the Human Resource Association's HR Excellance Award. Carol was honored with the Delaware Valley HR Person of the Year Award and John was honored with a Life-Time Achievement Award. The International Management Council has also recognized them with their Leadership Award.

CAROL ASSELTA, SPHR

Ms. Asselta has enabled organizations to successfully develop and implement numerous changes and initiatives. She has been involved in organizational changes including start-ups, mergers, divestitures, downsizing, restructuring and plant closing. As both an internal and external consultant, her expertise has contributed to creating solutions, and supporting strategic objectives and business goals.

She has conducted workshops at universities and professional organizations. Topics include change management, talent and performance management, organizational alignment and strategic planning.

Ms. Asselta has published white papers and has been quoted in the HR Magazine on strategic partnering and in Treasury & Risk Management magazine on developing financial talent.

She has served on Boards, in leadership positions of many hr and business associations and served on various community projects.

Ms. Asselta graduated with honors from Rutgers University with a Masters Degree in Human Resources and Labor Relations. She holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Business from Rowan University, and a Certification from St. Joseph's University in Organizational Development.

JOHN H KNOOP, SPHR

Mr. Knoop's business background when combined with human resource knowledge and experience provides a unique perspective on business functions.

He has lead reorganizations, facility start-ups and closures, mergers and acquisitions and number of business initiatives often not viewed as relevant to human resources.

Mr. Knoop is considered a "guru" of labor relations and has negotiated hundreds of union contracts and acted as a company advocate in numerous arbitrations. In addition, he is often sought out for union avoidance efforts. With expertise in the areas of legal compliance and labor relations, he is often called upon for guidance and direction.

He has served on a number of Boards, community committees and projects. He was a chartering member for Leadership Cumberland County.

Mr. Knoop graduated with a BS degree in Management from Rutgers University, is a Certified Manager through James Madison University and is a certified SHRM Senior Professional Human Resource Manager.
